Title: Artistic and Literary Visual Stories: The HeART of Deaf Culture

Patti Durr and Karen Christie will present a new DVD set which includes stories about the Deaf experiences through artwork, ASL literature, English literature, film clips and scenes from Deaf plays. Several interactive features provide information describing works of art, poems and historical timelines in visually friendly manner. We will also show short film excerpts, which highlight specific themes across a variety of artworks related to Deaf life such as "The Dinner Table Syndrome."
